There is a significant difference between the Christian Cross symbol and the Yoga/Hindu OM symbol. THE CROSS represents THE LOVE OF GOD, as Jesus died on a cross for our sins. “Greater love has no one than this, than to lay down one’s life for his friends” (John 15:13). Jesus said, “I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd gives His life for the sheep” (John 10:11). “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life” (John 3:16). “Behold what manner of love the Father has bestowed on us… (See 1 John 3:1). “For the message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God” (1 Corinthians 1:18). “For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ, for it is the power of God to salvation for everyone who believes” (Romans 1:16). “Nor is there salvation in any other, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved” (Acts 4:12).
