There is much grief and sadness when suffering the loss of someone that you love. As a true believer, the first thought that often comes to mind is “Were they saved?” “Did they accept Jesus as their personal Saviour? I hope they made the right decision before they died. If not then they’re lost and separated from God.”
“Seek the LORD while He may be found, Call upon Him while He is near” (See Isaiah 55:6). “For the wages of sin is death” (See Romans 6:23). “The soul who sins shall die” (See Ezekiel 18:4).
“If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness”(Please read 1 John 1:9). “That if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation” (See Romans 10:9-10).
